CITIZENS’ ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CAC) TOWN HALL MEETING AGENDA Tuesday, November 3, 2009 – 6:00 p.m. Cameron Park Community Services District – Social Center 3200 Country Club Drive, Cameron Park 1. WELCOME EDCTC Commissioner and District 1 Supervisor John Knight. 2. INTRODUCTION OF CAC MEMBERS Self-Introductions, by name and representative geographic location 3. PURPOSE OF CAC MEETING The EDCTC directed that the CAC hold approximately six public meetings at various locations throughout the Western Slope of El Dorado County to solicit community input with respect to the composition of the EDCTC. 4. OVERVIEW OF CURRENT EDCTC COMPOSITION a. Government Code § 29535, amended by Chapter 10, Statutes of 1996 – AB 1869 b. Government Code § 67950-67951 – SB 902 c. EDCTC Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement – 1995, Section 5.1 d. EDCTC Rules and Bylaws – Amended 2004 5. PROPOSED ASSEMBLY BILL NO 1204, HUBER SECTION 1. It is the intent of the Legislature that the membership of the El Dorado County Transportation Commission be comprised of individuals equally balanced from all regions within El Dorado County outside of the Tahoe Basin. 6. COMMUNITY INPUT/ PUBLIC FORUM The CAC will hear community input with respect to the composition of the EDCTC. Please limit your comments to three minutes. Comment forms are also available and written comments may also be mailed to EDCTC. To be considered, written comments must be received by November 3, 2009. 7. ASSEMBLYMEMBER / COMMISSIONER COMMENTS 8. NEXT STEPS Consider any final Committee deliberation meeting issues. 9. ADJOURN The meeting will be adjourned to the final Committee deliberation meeting at 6:00 pm, November 17, Cameron Park Community Services District – Social Center, 3200 Country Club Drive, Cameron Park.
